For me, citizenship is what social studies is all about. What we do with the legislature simulation contributes to making better citizens. Simulation allows students to become familiar with a framework for issue exploration, vis a vis the legislative process, and also for how they themselves deal with issues and how they feel about those issues. — David Larsen, Wilmington Middle School
